New World Symphony 2012_#0924.jpg

Download
(Editorial) MIAMI BEACH - FEBRUARY 27, 2011. At the New World Center, conceived by Michael Tilson Thomas and designed by Frank Gehry, even a budding palm frond appears inspired to conduct heavenly music. The New World Symphony prepares highly-gifted graduates of distinguished music programs for leadership roles in orchestras and ensembles around the world. As a laboratory for musical education and expression, it is highly effective at creating and engaging the public. Concert formats include full orchestra, chamber, and solo concerts; concerts by section (i.e., brass, woodwinds, string, percussion); classical series, music by modern composers. Subscriptions ensure music lovers a seat for the seacon while 30-minute concerts provide an engaging introduction to some of the most creative music programming in the nation.
